Week 24 – Vote 1 for MKMMA

The MKMMA has been an experience to open the mind and soul to the unknown, bringing it into the known so that it may never again be “unknown” – having to unlearn what we were taught and relearn new ways of thinking. And trust me when I say you cant unlearn theses lessons… and for this I am immensely grateful!!

Bringing the lessons into every aspect of our lives…

Enter voting week for us here in NSW, Australia. Time again to choose a government to support our country and take us through the next 4 years…. it becomes glaringly apparent of how sections of the Master Keys relate to even what would ordinarily seem like a mundane activity… to have to vote. Weeks and huge amounts of money are spent on marketing upcoming candidates, in varying and unusual ways – from high tale promises to purely taking stabs at the opposition (which brings me to hmm…. do we really want people who put down others, regardless of their past efforts, leading our country??!!)

Sentence 9 in The Master Key – Part Twenty Three

The average person is entirely innocent of any deep thinking; he accepts the ideas of others, and repeats them, in very much the same way as a parrot; this is readily seen when we understand the method which is used to form public opinion, and this docile attitude on the part of a large majority who seem perfectly willing to let a few persons do all their thinking for them is what enables a few men in a great many countries to usurp all the avenues of power and hold the millions in subjection. Creative thinking requires attention.

Most people are the first to “judge” a Politician by his/her action or inaction yet repeat the “gossip” as if it were gospel until it spreads like wildfire. In truth I do not envy their position. I admire them for the courage to (often times) stand out against the crowd of average people in an effort to bring something better into position for our country.

Imagine for a second though… if the entire Parliament had to go through the MKMMA…. learn what we have learned over the last 24 weeks and actually put it into place within their positions of power. What an entirely different country we would have!!

Week 23 – nearing the end… yet it feels like the beginning!

Throughout these last 23 weeks Ive been stretched, pushed, pulled, fallen down, spoken aloud to myself more times that I can count, stressed, happy, sad, excited, written blogs, learned about twitter, learned life lessons, found my voice within and learned to appreciate silence (something I NEVER thought possible!!)….. needless to say it has been challenging…. would I change a thing… no way. Would I do it again…. absolutely!!

I received an email this week which really hit home for me with all we have been learning:

From where I sit, it is a mystery to me, Amber, how so many can look back on their past with pride, yet frown with disappointment at their present. Somehow forgetting that back then, they were just as self-critical, while somehow missing that today they’ve never, ever, been so close to all they’ve ever wanted.

Just think about that for a moment, how often do we look back at our past and think, how good we “used” to have it or “used” to look…. but at that point in time in our lives we did not recognise that fact!!

The combination of reading this week from Og and Haanel is really continuing to solidify everything we have been taught so far (and what we continue to learn). Engaging the law of least effort has been a really amazing experience, its surprising how you can look at so differently once we choose to!

The ‘little’ things which used to bother me, no longer do, they seem so insignificant that I almost giggle at my past feelings toward them! Being grateful for EVERY situation changes things in a way that I almost can not put into words!

Remembering, thanks to Og, that, “Today I AM master of my emotions” and correlating this with our lessons throughout the MKMMA I now have a favourite new morning checklist….

Each day, when I awaken, I follow this plan of battle before I am captured by the forces of sadness, self-pity and failure….

If I feel depressed I sing (or listen to my recording and sing along)

If I feel sad I laugh (reading past fun/nice experiences)

If I feel ill I double my labour (power of your mind)

If I feel fear I will plunge ahead (do it… when?!!… NOW)

If I feel inferior I wear new garments (I particularly like this one!!)

If I feel uncertain I raise my voice

If I feel poverty I think of wealth to come (law of substitution)

If I feel incompetent I remember past success (thanks to our cards!)

If I feel insignificant I remember my goals (thanks to our shapes and colours)

Today, I AM master of my emotions

Week 22a – Spread your wings… (its not that scary…)

The first week of MKMMA where we have been given the option to spread our wings, preparing for the end of the course.

I have to say, honestly I was scared, but I KNOW now that was just my old blueprint holding me hostage (as it has done for so long!)…

We were given the option to read what we want to read and dictate our own week with no “further instruction” so-to-speak and I didn’t know how I was going to go… I am so used to being told what to do, by previous “experts” who leave you hanging on to their every word. They don’t teach you HOW to think for yourself they just teach you to rely on them… and the next course they develop…. and then the next, they leave you with a feeling that you can never leave them because you “wont know what to do”.

How deeply I was sucked into this routine I did not even realise…. until this week was approaching and I was SO nervous about it….. but once I started to trust the process, I realised it was easy. Easy because we have been taught life skills to take us through to the end of the course and beyond.

It was completely invigorating to have the freedom to direct my own week, and I DID it.

I feel like I am emerging from a cocoon which has surrounded me for so long, stretching my wings and learning to fly….

Im digging deep and I WILL see this through… because I know how to DO IT NOW!!

Week 22 – I LOVE the negative… am I crazy?!

When you say or read the words…..

FEAR

GUILT

UNWORTHINESS

HURT FEELINGS

ANGER

……what do you feel?? What emotions well inside you? Notice how your posture changes, does the hair on your skin stand up, do you get a hot flush??

When we think about past experiences which resulted in us feeling one or more of these emotions, our body changes…. it is therefore evidential PROOF that our thoughts control our body, not just mentally but physically.

Understanding the correlation between what we think and the health of our body is imperative and something which should (IMO) be taught in schools…. we learn from Part 22 chapter 8

8. All that is necessary is to consult our own experience. When our thought has been uplifted, progressive, constructive, courageous, noble, kind or in any other way desirable, we have set in motion vibrations which brought about certain results. When our thought has been filled with envy, hatred, jealousy, criticism or any of the other thousand and one forms of discord, certain vibrations were set in motion which brought about certain other results of a different nature, and each of these rates of vibration, if kept up, crystallized in form. In the first case the result was mental, moral and physical health, and in the second case discord, inharmony and disease
Knowing this, would you EVERY let your child talk negative about themselves, to themselves….?? Of course not…. then why do we do it to ourselves?!!

BUT….. What if you didn’t HAVE to feel that way when you say/read or even experience them….

One of the most powerful webinar’s of MKMMA so far was held this week… really bringing together all our lessons and exercises in an immaculately crafted way to give us real, straight forward tools to use going forward, as life and every day occurrences come at us in every way….

Let me try and review…

Instead of experiencing fear for what we are taught to see and feel, what if you could see it as as a blessing which increases your concentration of the task at hand…

Yep, my thoughts exactly!

So lets move on to the other words, just briefly and you will start to see the pattern….

Guilt – can be used to identify that we ARE on the right path, we just need to take the ACTION toward it (we wouldn’t feel guilty about something we didnt care about!)

Unworthiness – once we realise that we ARE worthy of anything our heart desires, we just can not have it all at the same time the feeling of unworthiness just dissipates! But wait, doesn’t that actually serve the purpose of focussing (the magnifying glass theory) on the important parts of your life and NOT multi-tasking (see previous posts for how much this sucks!!)

Hurt Feelings – If we identify that we can not control the feelings or emotions of others in relation to our ideas, we can only control our own – then we can choose to be thankful for the reminder of how much we care about our dreams and desires and we can immediately change from hurt to gratitude (OMG!!)

Anger – is a giant ball of energy that wells inside you that needs to be let out (or you feel like you might explode); you can choose to use channel this toward a positive outcome rather than negative, a voila you have progress aaaaaand no emotional hangover (score!).

We have a CHOICE! (granted it may not always be easy) We can choose to add any feeling to a word or experience that we like, so why would you focus on the negative.

Now that you know you have a choice to take the positive over negative….

we can choose

Choose positive.

Choose life.

Choose health.

Choose to live limitless – it IS after-all your choice
